If my hair is falling out, what do i do? Some info on how you can stop hair loss and restore your hair…
Do you know I am very upset because my hair is falling out? I know that it is perfectly normal for some hair to be lost each day, but this is going well beyond that. In fact, I took a look in the mirror, and noticed some marked changes in my hairline. Even though I think my hair is falling out due to stress, I still wish there was some way to reverse the process. This is just one of many reasons why I am saying to so many people “my hair is falling out what do I do?”
Normal Hair Loss
When I told my doctor about my hair falling out, she said that I might have a thyroid condition. She also mentioned some other things, and ordered a whole bunch of tests. I also found out that there is normal hair loss that comes with ages and hormonal changes within the body. While I do not want to have any medical conditions, I certainly hope that resolving any that come up with slow up, or even reverse my hair loss.
Abnormal Hair Loss
Even though I am very upset about the fact that my hair is falling out, I know that there are some situations where this “abnormal” condition is expected. For example, if I was on chemotherapy, or taking certain medications, then my hair would, indeed fall out faster. That said, I happen to be a very healthy person, and none of these issues match my situation. Since there may be an underlying health condition, I am even more concerned about the fact that my hair is falling out.
My Hair Is Falling Out Because Of My Diet?
Just the other day, I was telling one of my friends about how my hair is falling out. She said that she notices more hair loss when changes occur in her diet. I went home and did some research, and learned that a diet poor in iron can lead to hair falling out. Needless to say, I was very surprised by this situation, since I always eat plenty of beef. Upon doing some more research, I was highly disturbed to find that many meat products are tainted by antibiotics and other drugs that may have hair loss as a side effect. Even though the levels are not supposed to be high enough in meat products, it certainly gave me pause to think twice about eating so much meat.
Since I don’t want my hair falling out anymore, I decided to look for vegetables and fruits rich in iron to take the place of eating so much meat. You would not believe how surprised I was when I found out how delicious spinach shakes and other vegan foods are. I am also pleased to say that my hair is falling out at a much slower rate with this diet change.
Hair and Personal Care Products
Once I began to notice that my hair is falling out, I started looking at the products I use to shampoo and condition my hair. As may be expected, I found out that a sizable number of treatments can increase rates of hair loss. While I did not relish giving up commercial mousses, gels, and perming agents, it seemed best to do so as I did not want to lose even more hair. I also decided to try organic shampoos and conditions. Let me tell you, even though my hair is falling out, these products make my hair look much better than it ever did.
Other Lifestyle Considerations & Hair Falling Out
As with so many other people, I have not always led the healthiest lifestyle. This includes smoking and engaging in other activities that can contribute to hair loss. In fact, when I first began to notice that my hair is falling out, I immediately homed in on all the stress in my life. You see, I have a child and a broken marriage, plus a job that does not meet all my financial needs. Under these circumstances, my stress levels easily go to the point where I could pull all my hair out even before it has a chance to fall out on its own.
There is no question that the fact that my hair is falling out led to a wakeup call in terms of things I need to do about my life. Unfortunately, searching for a new job and taking steps to make sure my ex is completely out of my life are going to take time. On the other hand, each time I see that my hair is falling out, I will re-dedicate myself to reducing the stress in my life. Aside from engaging in meditation and other exercises to relieve the immediate pressure, I am also highly dedicated to solving the actual problems.
Health Conditions The Reasons Why My Hair Is Falling Out?
After I got all my test results back from the doctor, I learned that I have no health conditions that would lead to hair loss. Among other things, I was tested for thyroid disorders, as well as hormonal changes that come with menopause. Even though none of these things showed up, I was very disappointed when my doctor did not say anything about iron levels or my diet.
When it comes right down to it, the day I realized that my hair is falling out, it turned out to be the day that would change my life. At the very least, I made changes in my diet and personal care habits that make me far healthier than I was before. In addition, I am also very pleased to say that the fact that I lost hair also made me stop and look at things in my life that I do not want to have there. As I continue to improve my life, I look forward to the day when I can stop saying “my hair is falling out”, and start saying “my hair is perfect again.”
